81 and still got it

Had a beautiful day fishing today here in Key West Florida. I had the pleasure of taking out a couple of great guys and there dad. We had to work at it catching fish nothing was jumping in the boat. We had steady action most of the daythough.

The best part we did save for last however. In the last hour we landed a massive 200lb Goliath grouper and a nice Cubera snapper just before heading home. Wouldn’t you believe it Dad got both fish. It was truly a perfect end to a great day.

Key West October fishing is in full swing

As we get into the second week of October the fishing is really starting to pick up. Lots and lots of action out there everything from tuna, Jack’s, sharks, and barracudas. Today we focused on putting some meat in the cooler and caught four really nice mutton snappers along with few other bonus fish.

The fall run has begun πŸ’ͺ

Summer was amazing!! I took the month of September off getting some well deserved vacation time and getting boat maintenance done. We are back now in full swing. Tuna fishing is already heating up. The snapper fishing is getting better everyday. Sharks and amberjack fishing is on fire πŸ”₯. I can’t wait for the water temperature to start to drop and the fish to really go crazy !

Grouper season just around the corner

Snapper fishing has been good but the grouper fishing has been even better. Sadly the grouper season is closed until May 1st but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun reeling these beasts up off the wrecks and reefs. Purely catch and release but still an awesome accomplishment whenever you get the chance to land one of these.
