Bite was Bananas

Took a trip out to the Gulf side. The Gulf of America was full of life for us we caught tons of groupers, snappers, Cobia, barracudas, and a few really nice kingfish. Halfway through the trip one of the guys pulled out of banana which is considered very bad luck. Contrary to that superstition we had nothing but good luck. Was a beautiful day with a lot of action.

Sailfish season is kicking off early

Already as of March 1st here in Key West Florida we are seeing a lot more Sailfish then we usually would. With strong Gulfstream currents running close to Key West fishing has been really good. Bottom fishing we’ve been using a lot of lead to hold bottom in these strong currents but the bite has been on fire. Here just a few quick pictures from some of my recent trips.
