Key West Shallow water snappers
Some days in Key West charter fishing when it’s a little windy offshore and the seas get a little bit big for comfort moving inshore on the patch reefs can be a really effective strategy.
Today that’s exactly what we did. We went offshore the bite was good but the seas weren’t very friendly. We had already caught a bunch of live ballyhoo and a handful of yellow tails for lunch so we were ready to come in to calmer waters and find some nice fish. We fish for about an hour inshore and landed 5 muttons, 3 red grouper and a few others.
